It was a good night for Jersey and Guernsey in the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards, which were held last night at the Grange City Hotel in London. Among the many awards given out on the night, Jersey scooped the main International Finance Centre of the Year title, with Guernsey coming in runner-up.
Jersey and Guernsey firms also bagged awards in the four main categories: Investment Management Company of the Year; Private Bank of the Year; Law Firm of the Year; and Trust Company of the Year.
Now in their third year, the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards were established to highlight the excellence of the advisors and managers in the private wealth sector in the major international financial centres. In what has been a period of turbulence for clients, this is when quality advice is at a premium and when the best of the best really stand out.
The awards were judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors with experience of working with advisors in all the jurisdictions covered. The winners have excelled in achievement, innovation, expertise and service.
