The Parisian startup Kraaft wants to position itself as a new key player in digitalization in construction, using its platform, designed to bridge the gap between general tools like WhatsApp and complex solutions such as Procore.

Founded in 2020 by Marc Nègre, Cédric Boidin and Thomas Reygagne, Kraaft offers enriched messaging specifically designed for the sector. The application combines the use of instant messaging with advanced features such as photo geolocation, document management, and workflows automated by artificial intelligence.

This positioning allows it to respond to a double challenge: the low rate of IT investment (1-2% of revenues) and slow digital adoption due to low accessibility for front-line workers. In 2023, the company achieved a 15% improvement in change order management, highlighting its direct impact on productivity.

First used in factories, the solution quickly found its place on French construction sites during the pandemic. In just two years, Kraaft has tripled its user base, totaling over 1,000 businesses and handling over a million messages per month. Its clients include majors in the sector such as SAUR, SPIE CityNetworks and Ramery, but also smaller subcontractors.

In 2025, Kraaft aims to enrich its platform with planning tools, integrations with Procore and other third-party software, and AI-driven features to further automate processes.

Kraaft announced this morning that it had raised 13 million euros in series A to finance its development. This round table, led by Dawn Capitalalso includes Brick & Mortar Ventures, Chalfen Ventures, Stride VC And OSS Ventures. These funds will be used to accelerate the startup’s expansion in the United Kingdom and Germany.
