AI and Light: How Spore.bio transforms industrial quality control by removing waiting time

In the agrifood, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors, contaminants detecting still rests largely on traditional methods, requiring several days of laboratory analysis. These prolonged deadlines expose manufacturers to costly products, regulatory sanctions and increased health risks. In response, Spore.bio offers an instant microbiological detection solution, directly on site, combining Artificial and photonic intelligence.

A radical transformation of microbiological control

Conventional methods require between 5 and 20 days To identify the presence of bacteria or other contaminants, a delay incompatible with safety and responsiveness requirements. Spore.bio removes this constraint thanks to patented technology that use light to instantly detect the bacterial load products tested.

The startup system is based on a combination of machine learning, advanced optics and chemometry To analyze samples in real time, without requiring incubation or external interventions. This approach allows to immediately alert the quality teams in the event of an anomalythus reducing the risk of contamination and avoiding unnecessary immobilization of whole stocks awaiting validation.

Rapid adoption in industry

The efficiency and speed of the spore.bio process arouse great interest from industrialists. Over 200 factories are already waiting to integrate this technology. The startup is collaborating with major players in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors in order to refine the iterations of its device before a large -scale marketing.

At the same time, SPORE.BIO has concluded a strategic partnership with The Pasteur Institutea global reference in microbiology, offering it privileged access to the Institute’s Souchotheque in order to continually enrich its detection models.

An accelerated growth dynamic

Founded in 2023, SPORE.BIO is piloted by Amine Raji (CEO),, Maxime Mistretta (CTO)And Mohamed Tazi (COO).

The company recently made theAcquisition of Greentropisma startup specializing in spectroscopic analysis by artificial intelligence, which had previously raised 3M €. This acquisition allows it to integrate advanced skills in optics and predictive analysis.

A fundraising of $ 23M to industrialize technology

In order to accelerate its development and industrialize its solution, SPORE.BIO has just finalized a Series A of 22 million eurosled by Singular. This funding carries the total lifted to 30 million euros Since its creation. Among investors are Point 72 Ventures, 1st Kind Ventures (Peugeot Family Office), Station F and Lord David Prior (former NHS flesh)alongside historical investors Localglobe, no label ventures and family C (Clarins Family Office).

This capital will allow SPORE.BIO to double its workforce in order 50 researchers and engineersto finalize the industrialization of its solution and to prepare its Commercial launch before the end of 2025.
