Kerys Software raises 6.2 million euros to reinvent the infratech

IT infrastructure comes to the heart of business strategic concerns. Performances, safety, energy sobriety, after years relegated to the background, the low digital layers become a lever for transformation. The French startup Kerys Software is fully part of this movement by rethinking virtualization at the root. It has just raised 6.2 million euros to deploy its secure mutualisation technology on digital environments on a large scale.

Kerys Software is attacking the structural waste of IT resources, a true blind spot of digital. In many organizations, each employee has several physical equipment (personal computer, remote position, cloud access), whose real use is sometimes very low. Same observation side servers, whose workload is often fragmented and poorly exploited. As a result, the company must bear a multiplication of infrastructure costs, increased management complexity, and a digital carbon footprint difficult to reduce.

Faced with this diagnosis, the startup offers a radical solution. Thanks to a highly secure owner micro-ship, Kerys makes it possible to coexist several partitioned environments (Linux, Windows, containers, etc.) on a single physical device, with performance close to the native. The user can go from one environment to another with one click, without the need for dedicated positions or servers. This pooling reduces energy consumption, material inactivity time, and optimizing the allocation of GPU/CPU resources.

The promise is an immediate reduction in the total cost of possession, improving the cybersecurity posture, and significantly decreases the carbon footprint. According to internal estimates, a company of 500 employees could avoid more than 200 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year by adopting the Kerys Software solution.

Daphni, Seedcamp, Backtrace and Kima Ventures participated in the Tour de Table Pre-Seed, joined by several digital business angels. For Shabir Vasram, Partner at Daphni, “Kerys Software is the rare combination of an extraordinary team and a perfect time-to-market with the reorganization of component architecture, the implementation of new regulations (NIS2 in particular) and historic loss players”.

The company already benefits from solid anchors, with the Bpifrance Deeptech label, the startup is part of the Paris-Saclay Spring 50 and the 2025 Wavestone Radar in cybersecurity. It also collaborates with CEA List to reach an EAL5+ certification level on its technology, aimed at winning in critical environments with high demand for confidence.

Kerys Software is a French startup founded in 2024 in Palaiseau by Thomas Brethomé, Sébastien Domergue, Sylvain Cassier, joined in 2025 by Thomas Girard, who is now the CEO.
