Zaion raises 11 million euros to transform banking customer relations with AI

Zaion, is a Parisian startup founded in 2017, specializing in the development of vocal conversational artificial intelligence solutions, in the Banque-Assurance sector. Zaion announces a fundraising of 11 million euros from 115K, the venture capital of the postal bank.

The solutions developed by Zaion focus on the efficiency and improvement of the customer experience through vocal conversational agents capable of managing requests in natural language. One of the most notable products in the company, Lucy – a virtual assistant designed for the postal banking -, dealt with more than 2 million calls last year, significantly reducing the need for transfer to human advisers.

Zaion technology was deployed on a large scale in 2024, with more than 25 million managed calls, demonstrating a substantial capacity to deal with high volumes while maintaining an understanding in natural language greater than 90%.

Zaion launched in 2023 a generative AI solution, the “Zaion Real Time Call Summary”, which creates instantaneous summaries of calls, aimed at increasing the productivity of advisers by reducing their administrative workload.

With this funding, Zaion plans to develop in Spain, before attacking other European markets
