4elements, a startup studio dedicated to the creation of environmental start-ups, is banking on venture building to accelerate the climate transition. With a clear objective: to transform promising ideas and technologies into viable businesses, capable of meeting the ecological and economic challenges of tomorrow.

Founded in 2023 by Cedric Favier And Jean-Baptiste Goffartthen joined by Cedric Boisart4elements is based on a unique model of its kind. By positioning itself as a co-founder, the studio intervenes at each stage, from ideation to product-market validation. This method includes product development, strategic positioning and industrialization. Each project is designed to meet identified market needs, while integrating strong technological differentiation.

A portfolio committed to impact

Since its creation, 4elements has already supported three high-potential startups:

  • Bluefins : A technology inspired by whale fins, developed with Ifremer, allowing an average reduction of 20% fuel consumption for commercial ships.
  • Cedrus Solutions : An AI-based platform to optimize the renovation of real estate, promising a reduction of at least 60% costs and deadlines.
  • Netcarbon : A solution, in partnership with CNES and INRAE, which uses satellite data to measure and optimize natural carbon storage, intended for the agricultural sectors and communities.

4elements’ strategy is based on a community of technological and sector experts, mobilized to accelerate the growth of projects. The studio plans to launch 10 startups in five yearseach with progressive funding of up to 6 million euros depending on its stage of development.

27.4 million euros to transform the entrepreneurial ecosystem

To support this ambition, 4elements completed a fundraising of 27.4 million euros. This financing was led by the European Investment Fund (EIF)in collaboration with the French Tech Acceleration 2 Fund of France 2030, Greenpactand several family offices.
