Shyfter raises 1.5 million euros to accelerate in France against Skello and Combo

The Belgian Scale-Up Shyfter, specializing in the management of schedules and enrollments in SaaS mode, the company announces a fundraising of 1.5 million euros in order to intensify its presence on the French market and to establish itself permanently in Spain and in the Netherlands. The announced financing tour brings together the historic investor Mike Vandenhoft, co -founder of Newpharma, and the Belgian Fund Welovefounders, which is entering the capital for the first time. Already profitable, the startup has 70 % growth in 2024.

Launched in 2019 in Brussels, Shyfter develops a platform for multi-site companies, allowing them to plan schedule, follow working time, manage absences and integrate payroll or temporary work constraints. The tool centralizes all HR planning and management operations in an open environment, capable of interfaceing with all market providers, including interim.

This positioning of“HR COCKPIT” independent Slice with that of certain French competitors, whose offers are sometimes more locked. The French market, where the startup has been operating for a year in exploratory mode, is now at the heart of its development strategy. According to managers, local demand in modular HR management solutions, interoperable and controlled by field teams is in high progression. The ambition is to double the number of customers each year by 2027 to reach 10 million euros in recurring annual income.

A European offensive in a competitive market

On the segment of Workforce Management in SaaS modeShyfter enters into direct competition with several well -established French actors.

Skellofounded in 2016, mainly addresses the catering, retail and health sectors with a staff planning and management solution. The company, which has raised more than 47 million euros, claims several thousand customers and structured an enriched offer including the transmission of pay variables.

Other serious competitor, Combo (ex-Snapshift) Building on a “TPE terrain” approach with a simplified platform covering the schedule, contracts, absences, scores and the sending of payroll elements. The startup has raised more than 40 million euros, with the ambition of becoming the HR tool of the daily life of small multisite companies.

At the other end of the spectrum, Lucca More targets ETIs and large companies with a modular suite covering time management, leave, expense notes and internal HR processes. Although less focused on operational schedules, Lucca benefits from a strong base installed in France.

Faced with these actors, Shyfter focuses on flexibility of its architecturehis neutrality vis-à-vis pay providersand a Product approach co-constructed with customerswhich she considers her R&D partners. Among his references are already several major international accounts such as Burger King, KFC, or Quick.
