SXSW Innovation Conference 2026: a week to read the weak signals in tech and culture

Of March 12 to 18, 2026Austin (Texas) will host a new edition of the SXSW Innovation Conferencea hybrid meeting where emerging technologies, creative industries and societal transformations intersect. A unified format, designed to break down barriers between disciplines and increase opportunities for learning and meetings, in a context where innovation is increasingly taking place at intersections.

A tight schedule, gradual access

Before the official opening, two reservation windows structure access to sessions, screenings and showcases:

  • February 19, 2026 (9 a.m. Central Time) : opening of reservations for badge holders Platinum.
  • February 26, 2026 (9 a.m. Central Time) : extension to badges Platinum And Innovation.
    The conference will then be held from March 12 to 18with a dense program covering tech, AI, culture, film, music and their industrial extensions.

The programming articulates several formats, each meeting a specific objective:

  • Keynotes daily: speeches by international figures on the changes underway, from AI to the cultural industries.
  • Featured Sessions : transversal conversations, often with a strong prospective scope.
