Investment in private markets, including participations in unlisted companies such as Openai and SpaceX, has always been the prerogative of a limited circle of institutional and family offices. The illiquidity of these assets, combined with the complexity of entry and exit processes, has long excluded individual investors. However, in recent years, a new dynamic has set up: structured community investment, which aims to democratize access to the best opportunities.

The emergence of specialized investment clubs Blaise Matuidi, world champion and entrepreneur, is part of this transformation. After the launch in 2022 of its Origins venture capital fund, which invested in more than twenty technological startups, he took a new step with the creation of the Origin Investment Club. Objective: to allow its community to invest alongside it in companies with high potential, benefiting from rigorous selection and strategic support.

Roundtable, catalyst for access to private markets This initiative is based on RoundableEuropean platform specializing in community investment. By integrating fifteen new investment leaders, including Blaise Matuidi, Roundtable accelerates its development and strengthens its positioning on the segment of private assets. The platform now attracts secondary market experts, thus offering unprecedented access to participations in emblematic companies, formerly inaccessible.

This evolution reflects a double movement. On the one hand, the founders of companies are looking for investors capable of bringing much more than capital like Shares or Weward recently: where expertise, network and sectoral influence become determining criteria. On the other hand, investors, aware of traditional barriers, come together in specialized communities to access the best opportunities and benefit from a collective of investors.
