Where musical games are often confined to rhythm and execution, the Parisian video game creation studio seeks to make music a tool for collaboration, progression and narration. His first project, Opus #1intends to place the players at the heart of an experience where music influences the progress of the game.

A problem: rethinking musical experience in video games

If music is omnipresent in the video game industry, its use is rarely central to the gameplay. Classic musical games like Guitar Hero Or Beat Saber Base on performance and reproduction. Opus Major seeks to overcome this approach by exploiting music as a full -fledged interactive mechanismintegrated into a social and narrative experience.

One solution: music as a playful language

The studio develops a universe where music is a vector of action, strategy and cooperation. Opus #1 is based on a fundamental principle: playing in a group to achieve objectives where music unlocks unpublished interactions, modifies the environment and influences progression. Far from a traditional game of rhythm, it is a question here of composing, interacting and building collective experiences in a world where music becomes a power.

A market in search of innovation

The multiplayer video game sector represents a rapidly growing market, dominated by titles with often repetitive mechanics. The integration of new forms of gameplay, in particular via music, responds to a demand for diversification and renewal of experiences. Opus Major is positioned on a niche still little exploited: The intersection between social game and interactive musical creation.

A unique offer on the multiplayer game segment

Opus Major’s approach is based on three pillars:

  • A collaborative gameplaywhere players interact musically to progress.
  • An interactive narrationwhere music shapes the universe of the game.
  • Extended accessibilitywith an experience designed to be intuitive, engaging and adapted to different profiles of players.

The studio plans to unveil a playable version ofOpus #1 In 2025, offering a first overview of his innovative approach.
