INFINITE ORBITS raises 40 million euros to deploy its satellite fleet

The Toulouse startup Infinite Orbits announces a lifting of 40 million eurosoversubscribed, to accelerate the deployment of its fleet of satellitesGEO inspection and of life extension. The tour brings together the EIC FundMatterwave Ventures, Wind Capital, Balnord, IRDI and Newfund. The company thus crosses a strategic threshold in a sector where in-orbit intervention capabilities are becoming a key issue for operators and European institutions.

Technology, backlog and sovereignty: the three pillars of the Infinite Orbits file

Founded in 2017, the startup develops in-orbit services based on Appointmentautonomous vision navigation software enabling complex proximity operations. The company has a order book of €150 million to be delivered within three years,

For CEO Adel Haddoud, this round marks the coherence of private and public support for a capacity deemed critical: “This financing illustrates how the coordinated mobilization of European capital can support the emergence of a leader in in-orbit servicing. Infinite Orbits has established itself through the relevance of its offer and the excellence of its technical expertise. »

THE EIC Fund underlines the strategic dimension of the project: “Their in-orbit servicing technology, which extends the life of satellites and strengthens the sustainability of space operations, embodies the type of disruptive innovation that Europe needs. »

An extension of the operational scope in Europe

To support this new phase, Infinite Orbits is preparing to develop its presence with the opening of offices in Luxembourgin SpainAt United Kingdomin Germany and in Poland. The objective is to establish a pan-European operational platform capable of responding to commercial operators, but also to institutions working on orbital resilience architectures.

The industrialization of services and the opening of the post-2030 market

This fundraising of 40 million euros follows the turn of 12 million euros achieved in 2024intended to build “Endurance”, the first European life extension satellite. With this new financing, Infinite Orbits is accelerating the industrialization of its fleet and preparing the opening of new services by 2030: recurring inspection, maintenance, repositioning, end-of-life management.
