Duve is expanding its international scope with a major fundraising which marks a new stage in the transformation of the customer journey in hotels. The Israeli company, founded by Jeremy Atlan, David Mezuman and Shai Bar, has positioned itself for several years as one of the most complete platforms for orchestrating communications, check-ins, upsells and associated services within a unified interface. The hotel sector, long fragmented by a multitude of specialized tools, is now engaged in a transition where rationalization and automation take a central role.
This new dynamic is based on operational traction which is progressing rapidly. Duve claims deployment with more than a thousand hotel brands in seventy countries, representing more than a million guests served each month. The platform has been established in international groups such as Accor, Leonardo Hotels and OYO, demonstrating its ability to address heterogeneous technological environments and varied operating standards. For hoteliers, the challenge is to reduce the dispersion of communication flows and offer a more coherent experience without burdening internal operations.
The company is now focusing on artificial intelligence infrastructure dedicated to the hospitality sector. The objective is to automate part of the interactions, to contextualize exchanges and to anticipate needs, while integrating these functionalities into existing systems. This orientation opens up perspectives in terms of personalization and operational fluidity, in a context where chains and independent groups seek to consolidate their digital tools without multiplying technological bricks.
At the same time, Duve is launching its international development with offices being opened in the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand and another Asian country in order to strengthen the commercial presence in markets with high demand for unified solutions. The company thus aims to cover areas where partner PMS are already well established and where hotel operators are looking for a front-office layer capable of quickly integrating into complex technical environments.
Duve announces a new funding round of $60 million in Series B, or approximately 51 million euros. The transaction was led by Susquehanna Growth Equity, with participation from XT Venture Capital and other investors. The company, founded in Israel by Jeremy Atlan, David Mezuman and Shai Bar, has now raised a total of $85 million to support its growth and expand its technology infrastructure.
Several French players or those operating on the French market stand out as credible alternatives to Duve, depending on the size and needs of the establishment. Among them:
- Mews PMS: a cloud-native solution widely adopted in Europe. Mews offers a complete package: reservation, digital check-in, payment engine, group management, point of sale for the catering part, housekeeping, self-service, and a large number of integrations thanks to its open APIs.
- RoomRaccoon: an “all-in-one” PMS / channel manager / booking engine / management, designed for small and medium-sized establishments, independent hotels, small chains or alternative accommodation. It offers a simple interface, management of reservations and OTA channels, billing, housekeeping, and helps reduce the administrative burden for these structures.
- eviivo Suite: a cloud solution designed for independent hotels, guest houses, seasonal rentals, small hotels: reservation, channel manager, payment management, customer CRM, communications automation, integrated reservation engine. It aims for simplicity and efficiency for modest or flexible structures.
- Misterbooking: a “100% French” PMS, former player in cloud hotel software, combining channel manager, reservation engine, availability planning, payment management and reception operations. It can constitute an interesting alternative for hotels wishing to rely on a local solution, with French-speaking support and potential compliance with French regulatory and tax expectations.
Each of these solutions presents different profiles: Mews stands out for its modularity and the richness of its ecosystem, suitable for medium to large sized hotels or groups. RoomRaccoon and eviivo are particularly suitable for small and medium-sized structures, independents or hybrid housing. Misterbooking can appeal to those who prefer a local provider.
For a hotelier in France, the comparison between Duve and these competitors will be based on several key criteria: size of the establishment, need for integration with external systems, quality of local support, regulatory requirements (payment, taxation, data), and the balance between front-office automation (guest journey) and back-office management / PMS.
