A major problem for B2B sales
While B2C e-commerce has largely digitized, B2B sales remain, for many, prisoners of chronophagous manual processes. B2B sellers spend a considerable time processing orders by email or telephone, generating friction that slows businesses. To overcome this structural ineffectiveness, Catalog wants to offer SMEs a simple and effective tool to modernize the management of B2B commands.
A under-equipped and high potential market
B2B sales weigh much heavier than those of the B2C, but they remain less well endowed with suitable digital solutions. The optimization of these processes represents a major strategic issue for brands and manufacturers, who seek to streamline exchanges with their resellers and distributors. Catalog is positioned on a market that is still largely underguard by SaaS solutions, with the ambition to provide B2B sellers with the tools that made the success of B2C e-commerce.
A solution designed for brands and manufacturers
Founded in 2023 by Julien Bellemare and Maxime Poitevineau-Millin, Catalog offers a SaaS platform dedicated to the management of B2B commands. Its solution allows companies to digitize their sales processes, gain productivity and accelerate their growth. Thanks to advanced features, such as artificial intelligence processing of orders received by email, Catalog aims to simplify and automate a process that is still largely manual. “Our ambition is to create the new central part of the B2B sales system internationally, as Shopify did for the B2C,” explains Julien Bellemare, CEO and Catalog co -founder.
A startup from the Startup Studio Hexa
Born within the Startup Studio Hexa, Catalog was able to validate his model with a limited circle of managers before moving up a gear. After a first year devoted to legitimizing its product, the startup is now entering a commercial acceleration phase. Its model is based on a multi -channel approach and adapts to various verticals, such as decoration, childcare, fashion or even industrial materials. Among its first customers were the Dumas company, Babymoov, Riveredroite Paris or the Gardette group.
Priming funding to accelerate
To support this rise in power, Catalog lifted 3 million euros in the first quarter of 2024, in a starter lap led by the British Fund Localglobe, with the support of HELLOWORLD, KIMA Ventures and Motier Ventures. Business angels such as Alain Tingaud and Arthur Waller, CEO of Pennylane, also participated in the operation. These funds will be used to enrich the product offer and strengthen the presence of catalog on the French market.
Recognition among the winners of the WE Innovate 500 Startups 2025
This ascending trajectory earned Catalog to be distinguished among the winners of the ranking We Innovate 500 Startups 2025. This recognition underlines the growing impact of the startup on the B2B market and its ability to profoundly transform the sales processes of SMEs. By integrating this prestigious classification, Catalog confirms its position as a leading leader in the digitalization of B2B transactions and its potential to establish itself as an essential reference in the sector.
