30 % of industrial quotes lose money: relief raises 2.6 million euros to industrialize the costing with the AI

In workshops as in design offices, establishing a quote often remains a complex exercise, and time -consuming, a structural weakness that the Startup Relief intends to transform into a competitive advantage. Barely nine months after its creation, the company announces a fundraising of 2.6 million euros to automate industrial costing thanks to artificial intelligence.

In a context where mastery of margins has become vital for manufacturers, quotes can no longer be a blind point of the commercial process. However, it often remains carried out manually, on the basis of scattered data, between Excel files, incomplete historical and disorganized supplier bases.

Relief attacks this problem with a Co -pilot specializing in costing. Its technology transforms specifications into an optimized quote, based on models of language and optimization algorithms designed specifically for manufacturing in small series, boilermaking or design of special machines.

“” The deployment of relief allowed us to do two fundamental things: first, accelerate and reliable our costing by assisting our currency by a secure AI which includes the specificities of our profession; then, significantly improve our commercial strategy thanks to the fine exploitation of costing and production data »Explains Grégory Badey, president of Agitec, one of the startup’s first customers.

The gains are immediate with the division by four of the costing times, an improvement of 20 % of the conversion rate, better readability of the margins according to relief affirmations. For Mickael Mamou, relief co -founder, the stake exceeds productivity: ” The manufacturing industry accuses considerable delay in the digitalization of its critical processes, and costing is the perfect example. This fragmentation generates costly errors, improper use of technical profiles and too long response times in the face of competition. In a context where each point of margin counts, these ineffective people threaten the sustainability and competitiveness of our industrial fabric. Relief transforms encryption into a competitive advantage thanks to the AI ».

Mickael Mamou (CEO) and Jonas Levy (CTO) are targeting rapid deployment from French industrial SMEs, with the aim of reaching 100 customers and 2 million euros in end by the end of 2026. The recruitment of 20 employees is underway to strengthen the product, deployment and commercial centers.

For investors, the opportunity is strategic. “The industry that uses quotes to work represents 30 % of the total. And 30 % of quotes lose money. A chasm which, as often, is explained by manual processes, no use of data or AI to help the figures. Relief transforms this ineffectiveness into a competitive advantage thanks to an AI -based solution, and we had the chance to see Mickaël and Jonas’ ability to carry this vision at an amazing speed, “said Renan Devillieres, CEO of Oss Ventures.

Same observation for Jonas Simonin, investor at Daphni: “The company is attacking a major point of friction in the project industry: the quote, still too often manual, fragmented and whose know-how is difficult to transmit. By simplifying it thanks to AI, relief allows industrial SMEs to significantly improve their profitability and increase their conversion rate. The moment is ideal, carried by the digitalization of the sector and a strong dynamic of transmission ”.
