In French factories, only 3 % of communications are wireless. Firecell aims to accelerate their modernization by offering a private, accessible and secure 5G solution, adapted to the needs of industrial companies.

Industry 4.0 requires secure connectivity to optimize production, automate data exchanges. However, existing solutions, often expensive and complex to deploy, slow down the massive adoption of 5G by industrialists. Faced with this problem, Firecell brings a sovereign alternative to the offers of large equipment manufacturers, by developing a simple solution to install, operating on standard servers and guaranteeing optimized coverage. Its technology makes it possible to cover 30,000 m² with less than five access points, while ensuring an advanced level of security thanks to a native encryption and compatibility with existing industrial equipment.

Created in 2021, by Claude Seyrat, Firecell relies on a located R&D located in Nice, in partnership with the Eurecom research laboratory, and collaborates with European manufacturers to guarantee the sovereignty of its infrastructures. In just three years, the startup has attracted 75 leading customers, including SNCF, Airbus, Thales, Stellantis, Id Logistics, Bouygues Telecom and the US Army. Selected by the French Tech 2030 program, she is also a winner of the government’s 5G acceleration plan, with a first deployment on a Stellantis production chain.
