Producing engaging videos has become a priority for content creators and many businesses that are engaged in communication on social networks. However, the high cost and technical complexity still hold back many players. Argil, a startup from the Y Combinator incubator, offers a solution: hyper-realistic AI avatars that allow you to quickly create multilingual videos, accessible at a competitive cost.

Argil’s application is based on proprietary generative AI technology. Users can upload a simple video to create a virtual clone capable of speaking multiple languages and adapting to various formats. This technology is particularly useful for content creators, educators or small businesses, who are looking to produce quality content without the constraints of traditional methods. Argil’s offer starts at €1/minute of video, making video creation more affordable.

In addition to the creation of personalized avatars, the platform offers advanced features: automated pre-editing, conversion of text or audio content into animated videos, and a library of ready-to-use avatars. This positioning allows Argil to respond to the rise of short and dynamic formats on platforms like TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn.

Since its launch, Argil has attracted several influential creators, including Kwebblekop, a YouTuber followed by more than 15 million subscribers.

Argil announced a fundraising of 3.9 million euros in seed led by EQT Ventures, with the participation of Seedcamp, Axeleo, Charles Gorintin (ALAN, Mistral AI) and Kwebblekop, bringing to 4.9 million euros raised since the creation of the startup.
