In Lyon, Odoo accelerates its recruitment to structure its French expansion

The Belgian publisher Odoo continues to strengthen its presence in France with a new wave of recruitment in Lyon Part-Dieu. The company, known for its suite of open source management applications covering accounting, CRM, e-commerce, HR and ERP, is currently opening several permanent positions to support the ramp-up of its commercial, support and implementation activities.

This recruitment phase illustrates a broader trend in the European software ecosystem: SaaS publishers are no longer looking only for technical profiles capable of developing products, but for teams capable of orchestrating the adoption, loyalty and operational integration of platforms among clients. In the case of Odoo, this translates into a simultaneous rise in sales, partner management, customer success and ERP consulting functions.

The position of Partner Manager constitutes one of the most strategic recruitments of this wave. Seven positions are currently open in Lyon to structure the network of integrator partners and accelerate the conversion of prospects into customers. Behind this function lies a central challenge for ERP publishers: industrializing growth via indirect ecosystems capable of deploying solutions on a large scale among SMEs and mid-sized companies.

Odoo is also recruiting three Account Managers responsible for managing portfolios of more than 200 clients, ranging from startups to large groups. The objective is no longer just the initial sale, but the continued expansion of uses within client organizations, with a logic of upsell and long-term loyalty.

The development of customer relations also constitutes a major axis of this expansion. Two Customer Care Officer positions are open to support a portfolio of more than 1,000 customers. These functions become critical in SaaS businesses where growth depends as much on retention as acquisition.

The company is also looking for five Business Development Managers to support SMEs from various sectors. This sectoral diversity constitutes one of the markers of the Odoo model, whose platform is aimed at industrial companies as well as players in retail, services or e-commerce.

On the operational side, Odoo is also recruiting an ERP Consultant responsible for analyzing customer needs and implementing the different applications of the software suite. This type of profile is becoming central in a market where companies are looking less for simple software than for the ability to transform their workflows and connect their business processes into a unified logic.

Finally, the company is opening a Junior Accountant position to support the structuring of its French financial operations. The position involves managing Odoo France’s accounting under the supervision of the Belgian finance team, in a context of international growth.

With this recruitment campaign, Lyon confirms its growing attractiveness for European B2B software players. Between a pool of engineers, a dense SME network and proximity to several European markets, the metropolis is gradually establishing itself as an anchor point for SaaS companies seeking to develop their commercial operations and customer services in France.
