Oris Materials Intelligence, a new company specializing in the design of sustainable infrastructure, announces a new stage in its development. Coming from an intrapreneurial initiative within a large group of building materials, it now takes its independence through a carve-out which allows it to have autonomous governance and its own capital structure.
The company offers a Cloud platform that combines artificial intelligence, data science and engineering to support project owners, design offices and communities in the design of roads and railways with low environmental impact. The tool makes it possible to assess the carbon footprint of a project from the design phase, to optimize the use of local resources, to reduce CO₂ emissions and construction costs, while integrating climate resilience criteria.
In 2024, Oris claims to have identified solutions allowing its customers to avoid 3.1 million tonnes of CO₂, to save 4.4 million tonnes of primary resources and to reduce the costs of 20 million euros over 18,500 kilometers of road projects analyzed.
“This step is both a culmination and a new start. With Liberset by our side and a committed team, we have the means to deploy our mission on a large scale to transform linear transport infrastructures to be better suited to the challenges of our time, “explains Nicolas Miravalls, co -founder and CEO of Oris Materials Intelligence.
Renaud de Montaignac, co -founder and COO, adds that this transition to an independent structure offers the company the agility necessary to innovate more quickly, while remaining faithful to its mission to put science and technology at the service of sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
With this fundraising, Oris intends to accelerate its produced roadmap, strengthen its international presence and massify its impact with the major principals. The company is already collaborating with Sweco, Ramboll, Bouygues and Aecom, as well as with institutions like Die Autobahn, the Asian Development Bank and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
As part of this round table, Liberset, an international investment company supported by family offices, provides strategic support. “The digitalization of the infrastructure sector opens a new era, where performance, traceability and sustainability become major competitiveness levers. Oris Materials Intelligence stands out as a pioneer by offering holistic solutions that transform the management and optimization of materials ”declares Damien Bourel, co -founder and managing partner of Liberset.
Oris Materials Intelligence announces that it has raised 3 million euros in series A from Liberset. Founded by Nicolas Miravalls and Renaud de Montaignac, the company is based in Paris and has an office in Lyon, as well as representatives in Europe and Asia. Coming from an intrapreneurial initiative, it became a commercial company in 2021 before taking its independence in 2025.
