The French startup Affilizz, specializing in affiliation widgets powered by artificial intelligence, is entering a new phase in its history. The Lille startup has just been acquired by the International Affinity group, which will integrate its technology within its Nucleuslinks platform. The operation places a regional player at the heart of a global strategy aimed at redefining the monetization of editorial content. A real master stroke for Charles Besselievre, Simon Ducoulombier, Florent Alzieu and Vincent Alzieu, the latter two being known to the French tech ecosystem for having created Neweb / The digital numerics they gave in TF1
In a few years, without drum or trumpet, Affilizz has convinced the main French publishers by transforming articles into interactive purchasing experiences. Its tools make it possible to display, in real time, price comparisons, history and recommendations for products aligned with the tone of publications. This approach attracted more than 122 media groups, representing more than 200 titles in France, including Qwant, Reworld Media, Clubic, CMI France and Webedia.
For Affinity, an actor already established on the main advertising markets, the redemption of Affilizz makes it possible to strengthen Nucleuslinks, its Saas solution for optimizing affiliation. While the platform acts mainly in back office by automating operations and increasing income by 30 to 120 %, Affilizz provides a front-end dimension, visible by readers, capable of multiplying by two to four engagement rates. This combination highlights an integrated vision of affiliation, both invisible and optimized behind the scenes, and attractive for the end user.
This rapprochement intervenes in a context of market recomposition, thus faced with the decline in traffic from search engines, publishers must maximize the value of each visit. The rise of No-Code and A-Driven tools like those of Affilizz meet this requirement, by releasing the writing of technical constraints while improving conversion. Globally, the acquisition positions Affinity in the face of the big historical names of affiliation such as Rakuten Advertising, Awin, CJ Affiliate or Tradoubler, but also in front of neo-actors as Impact, Partnerize or Skimlinks.
Based in Lille and Paris, Affilizz was co -founded by Charles Besselievre, Simon Ducoulombier, Florent Alzieu and Vincent Alzieu. The team will join the numbers of Nucleuslinks, and its technology will be gradually made available to global customers such as Microsoft, Vox Media or Ziff Davis.
