The energy sector is marked by an increased desire for decentralization and an accelerated transition towards renewable energies. Micro solar power plants, photovoltaic installations on a local scale, play a key role in this transformation. Solteo, a startup specializing in SaaS solutions for renewable energy installers, offers technology that directly addresses these challenges.

A solution adapted to the challenges of installers

The French solar market is experiencing strong growth, with a goal of quadrupling installations by 2030. This dynamism puts pressure on the country’s approximately 4,500 installers, often VSEs, who are faced with complex and time-consuming management processes. Solteo has developed an all-in-one platform that simplifies and centralizes operations: technical studies, site management, administrative tasks and interactions with distributors.

Since the launch of its first version in July 2023, Solteo has already supported more than 10,000 projects through around a hundred clients. By unifying data flows and gradually integrating maintenance and financing modules, the startup allows installers to refocus on their core activity and respond to growing demand.

Accelerate the transition to decentralized energy

Micro solar power plants, distributed on residential roofs or professional buildings, embody a decentralized and resilient energy model. Their management requires specific tools to coordinate often dispersed and complex projects. Solteo anticipates this need by providing a platform designed to optimize each step, from initial study to maintenance.

The founders, all engineers from major schools (SUPAERO, POLYTECHNIQUE, CENTRALE, HEC), designed Solteo with the conviction that these micro-power plants will form the basis of the energy system of tomorrow. “We believe that these diffuse solar installations are essential to meet climate objectives and structure local and sustainable energy production,” explains Manon HIAS, CEO of Solteo.

A strategic lever for VSEs in the solar sector

By combining technical expertise and feedback from field experience, Solteo positions itself as a strategic ally for VSEs in the sector. Thanks to an intuitive interface and adapted functionalities, the solution contributes not only to the productivity of installers, but also to the structuring of a key sector for the energy transition.

With 1.5 million euros raised from AXELEO CAPITAL, KIMA VENTURES and CAMPUS FUND, the startup plans to strengthen its offering and expand its network. This financing is part of a long-term vision: making Solteo an entry point for organizing and boosting the solar sector, while accelerating the adoption of micro-solar power plants in France.
