Northvolt files for bankruptcy in the United States
The Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States, beginning a restructuring process scheduled to conclude in the first quarter of 2025. Subsidiaries Northvolt Germany And Northvolt North America remain operational and outside of this procedure.
