Faced with the hypergrowth of artificial intelligence, the web faces an unprecedented challenge: managing increasing traffic from robots that access online content via methods such as web scraping. These practices, often not robust and faced with legal obstacles, threaten the balance between content publishers and users. Linkup, a Parisian start-up founded in 2024, wants to offer controlled and legal access to the various protagonists.

A solution serving AI and editors

Linkup positions itself as an intermediary between artificial intelligence and content publishers. Through partnerships with premium sources, it provides fast, secure and legal access to data, while ensuring fair compensation for content creators. Its proprietary API allows companies to directly integrate this data into their tools, thus avoiding the technical and legal limits of web scraping.

This approach creates a balanced ecosystem where publishers maintain control of their content, and where AI applications benefit from increased reliability in their online interactions. In just a few months, Linkup has convinced 50 strategic partners, including publishers and data providers.

An infrastructure designed for AI agents

Linkup anticipates a web redefined by AI agents, capable of navigating and interacting directly with digital sources. To respond to this development, the start-up is investing in the development of proprietary models and an infrastructure adapted to growing AI traffic. Its objective: to become the reference for access to online content in an ethical and transparent framework.

Fundraising to accelerate its expansion

Linkup announced a fundraising of 3 million euros from SEEDCAMP, AXELEO CAPITAL, MOTIER VENTURES and 100 business angels. This financing will allow the company to strengthen its models, expand its infrastructure and develop its partnerships. Linkup also plans expansion in the United States and Asia.
