By 2027, SAP required its customers to migrate their ERP systems to the S/4hana environment. An obligatory passage which concerns thousands of companies around the world and which promises to be particularly complex, especially due to personalizations accumulated over the years. These specific adaptations, designed to meet specific business needs, are also the main source of cost and rigidity of current systems.
It is precisely this point of friction that Direct Address, created in London in 2024 by three former engineers of Palantir The Company offers an Agentic AI platform designed to make ERPs intelligible and governs. The idea is to offer the CIOS, IT teams and business decision -makers the ability to understand how their systems really work and what business logics are encapsulated. Where migration projects are traditionally based on long diagnoses entrusted to consulting firms, Conduct promises direct and continuous visibility thanks to artificial intelligence.
The value proposal focuses on the management of SAP customizations. According to conduct, for each dollar invested in personalization, two additional dollars must be spent on maintenance. The tool thus helps companies to distinguish critical developments to be preserved from those that can be replaced by standard processes. A rationalization which aims to reduce structural costs, simplify maintenance and accelerate migration, while limiting the risk of production in production.
The platform is based on an agent approach, the more the teams use it, the more it adapts to the proper context of the organization, while ensuring that sensitive data is not reused to cause external models. Henry Thompson, CTO de Conduct, insists on this aspect of sovereignty, the value generated remains confined to the user company, a decisive criterion for groups which still hesitate to open their systems at AI.
This promise has already attracted leading industrial players. Daimler Truck, one of the world heavyweight leaders, as well as Rittal, manufacturer of computer berries, already use the platform in their daily operations. Their adoption testifies to the conduct capacity to manage critical environments where reliability and continuity of service are essential.
To accelerate its growth and extend its offer, conduct has just raised $ 12 million (around 10.1 million euros) in priming. The Tour de Table is led by the Creundum fund, with the participation of Lucid Capital, Booom, as well as from Business Angels from Palantir, Google Deepmind, Workday and SAP. The startup was created by Jan Philipp Haas, Philipp Hoefer and Henry Thompson.
