GRDF launches a call for projects to boost the production of green gas.

For projects for startups, industrialists and research centers to bring out concrete and rupture solutionscapable ofincrease renewable gas production everywhere on the territory.

The objective is to reach 20 % green gas in the GRDF networks by 2030, by activating a lever still under-exploited-the β€œdifficult” inputs of methanisation.

On the program : Valuation of biomass, effluents, bio -waste, sludge, agricultural residues …

The stake? Find technological solutions to produce more green gas, as close as possible to deposits, and at a controlled cost. A challenge at the crossroads of Greentech, industry and territories.

A strategic issue: produce more, with complex materials.

Today, France has 627 sites injecting biomethane into GRDF networks, a production of 7.2 TWh. But to scale, the sector must:

  • Diversify inputs (agricultural waste, sludge, effluents, etc.),
  • Optimize the performance of the digesters,
  • Bring out technological rupture solutions.

GRDF wishes to support carriers capable of innovating upstream of the digester until its entry, and of industrializing their solutions in the field.

Who can apply?

Any structure with an innovation applicable to methanisation:

  • Greentech startups, industrial scaleups
  • Design offices, technical centers, laboratories
  • Alone or in consortium
  • Trl targeted: between 2 and 8

πŸ’‘ For less mature projects, a partnership with a recognized research center is recommended.

Why participate?

  • Up to € 300,000 in funding to share between the winners
  • Technical support by GRDF
  • Reinforced visibility in the energy/climate ecosystem
  • Concrete test and deployment possibilities

Deadline of candidacy.
