CRM Agent, Ascendx wants to redefine customer relations with AI

In a sector historically dominated by Salesforce, the British startup Ascendx intends to impose a new generation of CRM, thought for a post-interface era, where customer interactions are automated, managed by intelligent agents and capable of acting without human intervention.

Founded in London, Ascendx is developing a SaaS platform for large companies faced with the fragmentation of customer data, the complexification of routes, and the functional saturation of traditional CRMs. Its approach is based on native interoperability with the major market standards (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake) while adding an algorithmic piloting layer focused on the productivity of commercial, marketing and customer service. Ascendx offers AI modules allowing “CRM agents” to qualify, engage, or relaunch without manual intervention, according to business criteria and evolutionary rules.

This vision convinced Osprey Investors And Columbia Lake Partnerswhich lead a financing tour of 99 million euroscomposed of 54 million in Equity And 45 million in debtone of the most important at this stage in the sector. Among investors are also Charles Delingpole (Complicated further), SUJAY TYLE (Merama), Chris North (ex-CEO Amazon UK), and Malta Janzarik (ex-TPG Europe).

Ascendx wants to accelerate its development in particular in the United States, and make targeted acquisitions. The startup has already got hold of Capstorman American publisher specializing in the management and security of Salesforce data.

The company has also appointed two world’s SaaS figures to its board of directors with Gavin Pattersonformer president of Salesforce, and Pullen Danielco -founder of ncinowhich provide the startup with a direct B2B SCALE-UP environment.

For Ufuk CiviloCEO and co -founder, traditional CRM systems have become unsuitable for the requirement of agility and operational intelligence requested by large organizations.

The CRM market experiences a strategic tilting. The user interface gradually gives way to systems agenticscapable of making decisions, interacting with other applications, and coordinating actions independently. This paradigm is part of the continuity of initiatives launched by Salesforce with Einstein GPT, but Ascendx relies on a more flexible architecture, cloud-native, and turned towards APIs.

In Europe, few players are positioned in this niche. Folk In France rather targets VSEs/SMEs. Superoffice in Scandinavia or Pipedrive In Estonia bet on specific verticals. Ascendx, it directly sends the needs of large multi-entity structures, multisystems, in search of scale performance.

In 2024, the company recorded growth in 300 % of its income. She claims today Over 500 active customersincluding several groups of Fortune 500.
