WISEED is looking for a buyer: five offers under study under the eye of the Toulouse Commercial Court

Faced with a capital blockage and the prolonged collapse of the real estate market, WiSEEDFrench pioneer of crowdfunding, has initiated a prepack transfer procedure under the supervision of Toulouse Commercial Court. The objective is to prepare for a rapid recovery by a solid investment player in order to ensure the continuity of its activities and the security of funds.

Founded in 2008the platform made it possible to finance more than 1,200 projects real estate and business, representing 580 million euros invested. Approved by theAMF and theACPRit had diversified over the years into new investment services. But since 2023, the real estate crisis and the rate increase weighed heavily on its margins.

After a reduction of charges and a project ofbacked by an institutional investorthe company was unable to implement its restructuring plan due to the veto of a minority shareholder with extensive rightsblocking any refinancing solution. Management has therefore chosen the path of accelerated treatment of its difficulties, aiming to secure an orderly recovery.

Five buyout offers are currently under studyand the judge’s decision is expected in mid-November. Waiting for, platform activity continues without interruptionTHE investor funds remaining confined to Lemonwayin accordance with the regulations.
