Teton.a raises 17 million euros to develop predictive health

The health sector faces an equation that has become more and more tense in the whole of a Europe which sees its population watching, and it is what the Danish startup Teton .i which offers an alternative by focusing on predictive AI, capable of transforming the logic of care, in particular in establishments for the elderly.

“The economies of great age and health are broken: costs are increasing, the staff are exhausted and the results suffer. Go from a reactive system to a predictive system changes the equation. Emergencies decrease, team planning gain in precision and each intervention creates value. At the heart, it is a deflationary technology that makes the best care accessible to more people, “said Mikkel Wad Thorsen, CEO of Teton.ai.

The company has developed a platform that relies on computer vision and natural language processing to continuously monitor residents and generate detailed health profiles. The collected data makes it possible to anticipate needs, reduce administrative tasks and optimize team management. The results recorded counts a drop in falls of 82 % of the elderly, the first cause of death linked to injuries after 65 years, the administrative time of caregivers drops by 25 % each day, and the retention of the personnel increased by 28 %.

Teton.ai announced that it has raised 17 million euros in series A. The Tour was led by Plural, already an investor during the Seed, with the participation of Bertelsmann Investments, Antler Elevate, Nebular and PSV Tech. Founded in 2020 in Copenhagen by Mikkel Wad Thorsen and Esben, the company notably concluded a partnership with Nvidia to build the largest dataset dedicated to long -term care.
