The specialist in the Adtech and the Martech Appier announced the acquisition of the French startup Adcreative.ai for a total amount of $ 38.7 million, including a base of $ 27.3 million. This operation marks the fifth acquisition of Appier since 2018 and is part of its development strategy on the European market.

Strategic consolidation in the generative AI applied to advertising

Founded in 2021 in Paris, Adcreative.ai has imposed itself in creative advertising optimization by generative AI. Its tool allows companies to produce optimized visuals and advertising content depending on the performance expected. According to its customers Snapchat, Pernod Ricard, Reckitt and BNP Paribas, the startup has developed a platform combining owners’ models and real -time data analysis.



By integrating Adcreative.ai, Appier strengthens its offer in AI applied to marketing and digital advertising. The company, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (4180.T), aims to accelerate the adoption of the generative AI in the complete advertising cycle, from creation to performance optimization.

European expansion and margins optimization

Historically anchored in Asia-Pacific, Appier seeks to accelerate its penetration of the American and European markets. This acquisition is part of a progressive consolidation strategy, after the purchase of QGRAP (India, 2018), Emotion Intelligence (Japan, 2019), Botbonnie (Taiwan, 2021) and Wooopra (USA, 2022). It should make it possible to improve its margins by integrating an AI solution reducing advertising production costs while increasing the performance of the campaigns.

A reinforced positioning in the face of global actors

The Adtech and Martech sector is marked by an increased competition between major technological players such as Google, Meta and Adobe, which also deploy solutions based on generative AI. Appier seeks to position itself as an IA-Native alternative, capable of proposing an integrated approach ranging from audience detection to creation and advertising optimization.
