Each year, the French Tech Next40 program distinguishes forty companies capable of becoming the European technological leaders of tomorrow. For this sixth edition, eleven new companies integrate the classification, confirming the diversity of economic models and the growing maturity of the French ecosystem.
A renewed track record, reflection of sectoral changes
The new entries in the NEXT40 2025 testify to a rebalancing between historic actors of Tech B2B, new industrial champions and startups from more recent sectors such as electric mobility or quantum. The selection is based on objective criteria: net turnover greater than 100 million euros coupled with average annual growth of at least 15 % over three years, or cumulative amount of fundraising over the period 2022-2025.

A diversity of models and verticals
These eleven new entrants confirm the enlargement of the Specter of the NEXT40: Fintech, Quantum, HR, Gaming, Clean Mobility, Air Logistics, Tourism, Agriculture, Insurance and Digital Marketing. The presence ofAlice & Bob alongside Gojob Or Worldia illustrates the ability of the program to aggregate companies at very different technological and commercial stages, provided that they demonstrate economic solidity and a clear ambition internationally.
These companies join a program which offers them, for one year, support reinforced by the French Tech mission: access to French Tech correspondents in administration, visibility actions, international support, connecting with public buyers and large groups.
New selection criteria:
The selection of companies from French Tech Next40 is based on a rigorous methodology, articulated around two main criteria: commercial performance and the confidence of investors. To integrate the classification, a company must have either achieved a net turnover greater than 100 million euros with an average annual growth of at least 15 % over the last three financial years, or are among those having raised the highest amounts between January 2022 and April 2025. This double assessment grid makes it possible to valorize both measurable economic solidity and the ability to mobilize capital to support innovation. In addition, candidate companies must provide a recent carbon assessment and publish their professional equality index, or failing to engage in an improvement process. This requirement reflects the desire to make Next40 not only an indicator of performance, but also a lever for sustainable transformation for the entire French technological ecosystem.
A growth base for the coming decade
By integrating the NEXT40, these companies benefit not only from a strong signal addressed to their customers, partners and financiers, but also from a collective dynamic aimed at bringing out a fabric of technological leaders on a European scale. In a context marked by the return of the challenges of industrial, energetic and digital sovereignty, their trajectory will be closely scrutinized.
