Believe: towards a removal of the rating orchestrated by its founder and EQT
Upbeat Bidco, entity controlled by Denis Ladegaillerie, founder of Believe, and the EQT X and TCV funds, announced its intention to file a public withdrawal on the actions it does not yet hold today. Already holding 96.65 % of the capital and 95.42 % of voting rights, Upbeat Bidco provides for a compulsory withdrawal at a price of 15.30 euros per share. This price values bonuses up to +7.5 % on weighted average courses. The AMF must still validate the compliance of the offer, the opening of which is scheduled for the second quarter.
First solid semester (as Pierre Chartier would say): OVHCLOUD confirms his ambitions
Ported by organic growth of +10.2 %, OVHCLOUD recorded a turnover of 536 million euros in the first half of 2025. The dynamics are driven by public cloud offers (+17.4 %), sovereign solutions and international expansion, especially in central Europe and Asia-Pacific. The adjusted Ebitda margin reaches 40 %. The net profit returns to the green (€ 7.2 million). Thanks to strategic refinancing – including an obligation of € 500 million and a green loan of € 450 million – the group affirms its profitable growth trajectory and confirms all of its objectives for the exercise.
Stargate targets the United Kingdom for its international development
The Stargate project, carried out by Openai and Softbank, plans to invest in the United Kingdom as part of its international development. Launched by Donald Trump with an objective of $ 500 billion over four years, this initiative aims to build the global infrastructure necessary for new generation artificial intelligence. First focused on the United States, with a first data center under construction in Texas, the project could extend to the United Kingdom, stimulated by the efforts of the Starmer government to attract AI investors, in particular through better access to energy. Germany and France are also among the envisaged countries. But Stargate will have to deal with the effects of new American customs barriers, likely to increase import costs of more than $ 11 billion per year.
OPENAI is preparing a strategic redemption at $ 3 billion in the coding AI
OPENAI is in advanced discussions to acquire Windsurf (ex-Codeium), a startup specializing in coding assistants boosted with artificial intelligence, for an amount of around $ 3 billion. This operation, which would be the most important acquisition ever made by Openai, would aim to strengthen its positions against Github Copilot (Microsoft), Anthropic and Anysphere. Founded in 2021, Windsurf, also known as Exafunction, was recently valued at $ 1.25 billion. If it succeeds, this acquisition would mark a turning point in the consolidation of the Sector of Development Assistants by IA, while the competition intensifies and the valuations reach heights.
Openai crosses a course with O3: the AI that thinks, acts and decides
OPENAI unveils O3 and O4 – MINI, two AI models designed to reason longer and to use the set of chatgpt tools. Web search, generation of graphics, analysis of documents or images: the agent now chooses the best strategy for resolving a task. With record performance on benchmarks in mathematics, programming and vision, O3 exceeds the limits of previous models while reducing response time. OPENAI thus begins a new phase: that of an agentic AI, capable of planning and executing without direct human supervision.
Chris Krebs leaves Sentinelone to face Trump full time
The former director of American cybersecurity, Chris Krebs, resigned from Sentinelone to devote himself to an open fight against the Trump administration, which revoked his security authorizations. Aimed by a decree signed on April 9 ordering an investigation into his action at the head of the CISA, Krebs denounces an attack on democracy and freedom of expression. He had been dismissed in 2020 after challenging the accusations of electoral fraud put forward by Donald Trump. “This is a fight for the rule of law,” he said in a message published on LinkedIn.
