Jersey law firm Sinels has been named ‘Dispute Resolution Law Firm of the Year in Jersey’ in the Corporate INTL Global Awards 2012, acknowledging the firm’s high standards of service and expertise.

Commenting on the accolade, Philip Sinel (pictured), Senior Partner of Sinels, said:

“As a firm that has a strong tradition in excelling in complex dispute resolution cases, it is extremely pleasing to be formally recognised as the leading firm for this type of work in Jersey, particularly as we mark our 25th anniversary this year.

“Dispute resolution requires lawyers to demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity as well as specialist technical knowledge, expertise and a great deal of hard work, so this latest endorsement is a reflection of that unique combination of skills in our team of lawyers.”

The annual Awards recognise expertise amongst legal and financial professionals in a range of jurisdictions globally, commemorating legal advisers and financiers who have demonstrated excellence in their specialist area and particularly high standards of service over the past twelve months.

Winning firms are identified following a detailed period of research undertaken by an independent editorial and research team, who considered a range of criteria including geographical location, range of service, the type of business, and strength of expertise.

This follows Sinels being named Commercial Litigation Law Firm of the Year in Jersey earlier this year by the same publication and Philip Sinel being listed as a leading lawyer for contentious trusts work in the CityWealth Offshore Leaders list.
