The Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) breakfast briefing 15 August is almost at full capacity and now attendees have the chance to get a free EDD report.Darren Wadley, Managing Director of CRS who will be delivering the briefing, is delighted with the take up so far:“EDD is a hot topic at the moment particularly in the light of the recent banking scandals hitting the headlines. With businesses turning to higher risk jurisdictions to diversify their client base, it’s essential that the right levels of due diligence are in place. We are seeing an increase in clients seeking ways of mitigating their risk exposure but without limiting their opportunities to benefit from the potential business some of these emerging markets offer.”One lucky attendee at the event will also have the opportunity to get a free EDD report from CRS. Darren explains:“EDD still proves to be problematic for many organisations. We are keen to illustrate that there are some relatively straightforward steps businesses can take to ensure that they have the right processes in place. Our level one report draws on both our experience and the range of data sources and specialist software we have in place and we are delighted to offer this to a company which has a real need to bolster the information it already has already obtained.”The event will examine what is meant by enhanced due diligence and what constitutes a high-risk business relationship. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the most common problems they face when obtaining EDD and the possible practical solutions available. The briefing takes place in the Dorey Room, St James Concert & Assembly Hall, Wednesday 15 August 2012, from 8:15am to 9:45am.There is no charge for attending.
