Corporate Risk Solutions launches Risk Breakfast BriefingsThe first in a series of Breakfast briefings by CRS will look at current Risk Management issues facing the local finance sector

The briefings will be lead by CRS Managing Director, Darren Wadley. Darren will be looking at a number of topics that are particularly relevant to the financial services industry in the current climate.

The first event will examine issues surrounding Foreign Account Taxation Compliance Act (FATCA) and also implications for local businesses from the GFSC’s proposed revisions to the Handbook on Bribery and Corruption.

Darren explains:

“There has been a good deal of coverage and commentary on both these subjects. Our key aim for this and future briefings is to outline some practical solutions to the issues the sector is facing rather than just looking at the theories surrounding them.

We want attendees to walk away with a real idea of specific actions they need to take and possible changes in procedures they will have to introduce to face the ever changing regulatory requirements.”

The briefing will take place on June 27 at 0815 in the Dorey Room at St James.

Attendance is free but places are limited. To reserve a place contact Tina at tina@risk.gg. Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided.
