HighLife, Biolevate, Wealthcome: nearly 189 million euros raised in French Tech this week

From September 19 to 25, 14 French operations totaled nearly €189 million. Healthcare concentrates the largest amounts, while business software and AI infrastructures attract capital when they are already connected to critical operations.

Nearly 189 million euros in one week, the figure could suggest an indistinct return of money in French tech. If HighLife and Biolevate between them concentrate more than €110 million, the towers of Wealthcome, Graneet, Kheops or Primo nevertheless outline the most interesting movement: AI is no longer financed as a general promise and must be linked to a profession.

Health buys time, not just software

The biggest ticket of the week goes to HighLife. The Parisian medtech company, which is developing a catheter-based mitral valve replacement solution, has secured more than €80 million to conduct its pivotal study in the United States and accelerate its commercial development in Europe. In this sector, capital does not finance a simple recruitment plan, but buys clinical time, regulatory validation and capacity to deploy to healthcare establishments.

Biolevate raises €30 million in series A, with RAISE France and Orange Ventures as lead managers. The company wants to make AI compatible with the compliance, traceability and documentation requirements of pharmaceutical research.

The same logic runs through the Incepto and RelaisSanté towers. Incepto, which had raised €27 million in 2022, is adding €14 million to expand the deployment of its AI solutions in medical imaging. RelaisSanté finances, with €6 million, the coordination between hospital, city professionals and return home.

Business software is financed when it controls a gesture

Wealthcome raises €15 million from Breega and BlackFin Capital Partners to accelerate with banks, insurers and wealth management networks, with Harvest in its sights.

Kheops obtains €12 million to upgrade its workflow tools towards assortment intelligence.

Same reading for Primo, which obtains €6.9 million in order to entrust AI agents with IT administration tasks. The company already has 400 customers in ten countries.

Graneet and IOPOLE are positioning themselves on the very concrete site of electronic invoicing. Graneet, specialized in ERP for construction, is raising €7 million to develop its modules and AI agents. IOPOLE adds €3 million to strengthen its approved platform infrastructure. Here, regulation plays the role of a business accelerator by forcing companies to choose tools.

Zeliq, with €7 million, is tackling automated commercial prospecting. The new SalesTech battle is less about the ability to produce messages than about the quality of signals, access to data and the possibility of triggering relevant commercial action.

Small tickets are not waiting towers

Operations of less than €4 million are not second-tier financing. Lightspring, in Besançon, is raising €3.1 million to solve one of the most complex links in photonics: the assembly and packaging of chips.

Reecall, in Lyon, is raising €3.5 million to distribute its white label voice technology. After a first round of €3 million, the company wants to become a voice building block for other software rather than an assistant visible to the end user.

AlphaYoda, in Metz, obtains €900,000 for its solution for detecting ESG controversies. LégiPilot, in Lille, raises €500,000 for its legal and HR tools.

The real subject is not the total amount

This week at nearly 189 million euros draws a demanding selection. Capital goes to companies that need to finance regulatory or industrial proof, and to software already connected to a critical workflow.

For health, it’s about buying time and reducing clinical risk. For business platforms, it’s about buying a place in their clients’ operational architecture. AI remains at the heart of stories, but it is no longer enough on its own, and must be embedded in a product.

Outside period: Kalank opens its capital

Kalank, a video game and immersive solutions studio based in Angoulême and Paris, has also finalized its first fundraising from Crédit Agricole Charente-Périgord Expansion and the SPV KPA. The amount of the round is not communicated, the company indicates cumulative financing greater than €1.5 million.

The funds must strengthen creative and technical teams, accelerate game publishing activity and support international development. Kalank also develops immersive solutions for the industrial, cultural and institutional sectors.
