Online domiciliation: what the displayed price does not say

Registering your business with a service provider costs between €14.90 and €30 excluding tax per month depending on the platform and legal form. However, this call rate covers very different scopes, and what is included in one is billed as an option in another. This article compares three market entry offers on what they actually include, prices noted in September 2026.

The entry fee for an online domiciliation does not cover the same service everywhere

The basic subscription gives a head office address and mail receipt. Everything else varies from one service provider to another: scanning, reshipping frequency, scanned page limit, fees beyond this limit.

It is on these items that the gap between the displayed price and the actual monthly bill widens. LS Compta reviewed five platforms to designate the best online domiciliation site. LegalPlace opens this ranking.

LegalPlace: a Parisian address with mail scanning and sorting included

LegalPlace offers a domiciliation service at 47 rue Vivienne, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Scanning and sorting mail is included in the subscription, with an online customer area to view scanned documents.

The scale depends on the legal form: €17 excluding tax per month for a micro-enterprise or an SCI with an annual commitment, €25 excluding tax per month for an SAS, a SASU, a SARL or an EURL. Physical forwarding of mail is offered as an option.

The offer is based on a single address. A manager looking for an address in his region of activity will therefore rather look towards networks established in several cities.

SeDomicilier and Les Tricolores: two ways to bill mail

SeDomicilier: a large network and capped digitalization

SeDomicilier displays an entry offer of €16 excluding VAT per month without commitment, with a decreasing scale depending on the duration subscribed. The scanning of mail is included in the limit of 100 pages per month, each additional page being billed at €0.30 excluding VAT.

The network covers 14 addresses in Paris, 11 in Île-de-France, as well as Lyon, Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, Nantes, Toulouse and Montpellier. Redirection can be purchased by card from €2.50 by post, or as a monthly package at €10 excluding VAT, daily at €40 excluding VAT.

The Tricolores: monthly reshipment included from the entry offer

The Tricolores start at €14.90 excluding VAT per month with the Trico Essentiel formula, which includes the address and monthly forwarding of mail. Daily scanning is covered by the Trico Scan formula, at €19.80 excluding VAT per month, and daily forwarding is covered by the Trico Premium formula, at €29.70 excluding VAT.

The network has 11 addresses in France, mainly in Paris and its inner suburbs, with Lyon, Lille and Marseille. An annual commitment entitles you to a 10% discount.

Please note: the price list often varies depending on the duration of the commitment subscribed. At SeDomicilier, the monthly rate decreases as this duration lengthens, which makes two entry offers comparable only for equivalent duration.

Other players operate in this market, notably Kandbaz and Digidom, the latter displaying its prefectural approval number at the foot of the site.

Two criteria that the price does not show

The prefectural approval of the service provider

Any domiciliation company must have an approval issued by the prefect of the department of its headquarters, and by the prefect of police in Paris (article L123-11-3 of the Commercial Code). This approval is granted for six years.

The domiciliation contract shows this approval number. Finding it on the service provider’s website before signing takes a few seconds.

The tax municipality at the CFE

The head office address determines the municipality to which the company depends for the corporate property tax. The rate applied to the rental value is voted by the municipality of the main establishment.

For an activity without dedicated premises, a minimum base, also set by the municipality, applies. Two addresses displayed at the same monthly rate can therefore result in different CFE amounts.

The choice between the manager’s home, a dedicated premises and a domiciliation company also depends on the activity carried out, a decision detailed in our article on where to set up your business.

Which formula for which entrepreneur profile

A consultant who creates his SASU and receives little paper mail mainly needs an address and online consultation. An offer with scanning included covers this need, without the option of reshipment.

A merchant with partners in several regions will first look at the extent of the address network. A manager who is aiming for a Parisian address with dematerialized mail management will find at LegalPlace an offer built on this scope.

The call rate remains the first criterion looked at, but it only becomes comparable once reduced to the scope actually covered and the duration of commitment. To lay the foundations, our article on business domiciliation returns to what this formality covers.

Please note: the prices and scope of offers cited in this article are those publicly displayed on the platforms’ websites in September 2026 and may change.
