New Advocate and Solicitor for Mourant Ozannes

Mourant Ozannes have a new Jersey Advocate and Jersey Solicitor, who both appeared before the Royal Court of Jersey on Monday 3 March. James Daniel, who works in the Banking & Finance and Corporate practices, was sworn in as Advocate, and Carol Doherty, who works in the Litigation practice, was registered as a solicitor, following successful completion of their examinations in 2013.

Jersey Managing Partner Daniel Birtwistle commented: "I'm delighted to congratulate both James and Carol on their achievements, which duly recognise their hard work and dedication to their studies, over a substantial period of time. I look forward to supporting them in this next stage of their careers."

James joined Mourant Ozannes in 2008 after completing the Legal Practice Course, having worked in the Mourant Ozannes London office for 18 months. James advises on the full range of offshore corporate and banking and finance work.

Carol joined Mourant Ozannes in 2007 after previously working as a Family Proceedings Officer in the Family Division of the Royal Court of Jersey.
