Jersey's entrepreneurial spirit and business prowess will be celebrated in a week long programme of events in June, in a build up to the Island's showcase business awards night, as part of the Awards for Enterprise 2014.
Coordinated by Jersey Business with the support of its sponsors, the Awards are officially launched this month and entrants are invited to visit the Jersey Business website for more information on this year's categories and the application process. For the first time, an open invitation Entrants' Evening will be held on Thursday 16th January at the Pomme D'Or Hotel at 5 p.m. offering local businesses the opportunity to find out more about entering the Awards, what the judges are looking for, and how the process can benefit an organisation with the opportunity to talk to winners from 2013. On Friday 10th January the chairman of Jersey Business, Peter Funk, will officially launch the Awards for Enterprise 2014 with the Minister for Economic Development, Senator Alan Maclean. They will be joined by a number of winners from the 2013 Awards, including Feelunique.com founder and chief executive Aaron Chatterley, who will speak about the value of entering, and winning, an award category.

Our objective is to build business success and to guide entrepreneurial spirit. The Awards for Enterprise week of activities and events celebrating business in Jersey will begin on Monday 9th June and close with the awards dinner and presentations on Friday 13th June.
