Ray Davies, former Head of Operations for eGaming with the Isle of Man Government has recently joined Garfield-Bennett Trust Company (GBTC) as Group iBusiness Executive.
Ray will head up the team providing advice and guidance to gaming operators wishing to establish in Jersey, and professional support to ensure compliant ongoing management of the licensed entity.
Ray brings with him significant experience of working within the online gaming sector. As Head of Operations he was responsible for implementing new initiatives aimed at encouraging inward investment and the development and growth of existing businesses.
On his appointment, Ray commented: “In my previous role, I worked very closely with new operators considering a gaming licence and also with the private sector service providers in helping clients establish a licensed operation... [At GBTC] I am looking forward to working closely with new clients to help them successfully obtain a licence in Jersey and grow the business thereafter."
