Family Office imageLeading figures from family offices in the UK and the Channel Islands are set to appear at a groundbreaking event in November this year.

‘Family Offices: A 21st Century Phenomenon' – organised by businesslife.co, the leading pan-Channel Island business magazine – will see representatives from Jersey, Guernsey and the City address issues at the heart of the family office industry and examine just what is driving that industry right now.

Already lined up to speak are:
• Paul Kearney, MD, Private Investment Office, Kleinwort Benson, London
• Aidan McAvinue, Head of Family Office, Barclays, Jersey
• Nicola Roberts, Private Client Tax Partner, Deloitte LLP, London
• Ian Slack, Director, Bedell Family Office, Jersey
• Prof. Michael Oliver, Director & Co-Founder, Global Partnership Family Offices
• Dawn Goodman, Partner, Withers LLP, London
• Kevin Lemasney, Director, Locate Jersey
Other speakers are confirming on a daily basis.

This event is the latest in a series of conferences and forums organised by businesslife.co and will take place at the Pomme D'Or Hotel in St Helier, Jersey, from 8.30am-4pm on Wednesday 27th November.

Breaking with the more traditional model for events of this kind, ‘Family Offices: A 21st Century Phenomenon' will include ‘Lightning' sessions, double-header interviews and panel discussions with a difference. Topics to be covered include:
• What defines today's family office?
• Single vs multi-family offices
• Is there a third way?
• The philanthropic journey
• Managing conflict
• Family Offices and Channel Islands Service Providers

Delegates are guaranteed a thought-provoking experience and are advised to book early as spaces are limited.
