Jersey-based attraction tickets seller, 365Tickets, has signed an agreement to officially launch a Chinese model of its popular site; 365Tickets China.

Together with Beijing-based partner, Lucy Wang, 365Tickets is now in the process of creating, developing and managing the new localised 365Tickets China site, which will be optimised for Chinese customers by using the languages, currency and local payment systems for the country.

At the signing of the agreement in Beijing, Peter Flambard of 365Tickets and Lucy Wang of 365Tickets China were joined by Nora Zhang the Locate Jersey representative in Beijing who, along with Jersey Business, helped facilitate the meeting. Also present was a representative from 17u.cn a major Chinese internet travel company.

Wayne Gallichan of Locate Jersey commented, “this is a good example of a local business responding to an opportunity and exporting their product and services worldwide which is to be commended”, whilst Andy Cook CEO of Jersey Business the Jersey business support and advisory service said, “we are delighted to see one of Jersey’s local business’ looking internationally to develop and grow their market and wish them every success in establishing their worldwide partner network”.

The reciprocal agreement will add popular Chinese attractions to 365Tickets’ current stock of around 1,350 products across the UK, Europe and USA, while also greatly extending ticket sales for the attractions already represented by 365Tickets by making all of these products readily available for customers in China to purchase.

The 365Tickets China agreement is the latest in a number of new partnerships to be forged by 365Tickets as part of the company’s expanding global network of partners. Originating in the UK, 365Tickets adds China to its network of partners in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain and USA, each of whom is developing localised versions of the 365Tickets sites.

“Our vision is to offer global attractions with local expertise, so we’re delighted to be adding yet another localised site to our worldwide network with the advent of 365Tickets China,” says Andre Flambard, Managing Director of 365Tickets. “Given the huge customer base in China and the popularity of the country as a travel destination for our existing markets, we’re excited about this new development and the future of 365Tickets in the international attractions business.”
