Aztec Group appoint Stephen Hill as Non-Executive Director to the Board

The Aztec Group, a leading fund services business, has recently appointed Stephen Hill as a new non-executive director to their board.

Stephen's appointment will support the successful continued growth and future ambitious expansion of the Group. The Aztec Group launched in 2001 and now employs over 180 staff across four locations providing first class fund services to private equity and real estate funds.

Stephen has extensive experience in media and online businesses, having been the youngest ever CEO of the Financial Times from 1996 and 2002, and subsequently CEO of the internet start up Betfair.Stephen successfully steered Betfair through rapid expansion, building a solid and scalable business model. He has served on the boards of Channel Four Television Ltd, Royal Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc, Psion plc, and as Chairman of the Board of Interactive Data Corp in the USA.

Stephen is currently an independent director of IG Group plc and also an independent director of SandAire Ltd, a multi-family office private wealth manager. Stephen is Chairman of the Royal National Institute for Deaf People and a member of the Advisory Board of the Cambridge University Judge Business School.

During leisure time Stephen enjoys travel, gardening, classic cars and triathlons.
