Tony is Head of Tax at KPMG in Guernsey. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser and former HM Inspector of Taxes in the UK. He has been advising multinational businesses and high net worth individuals on UK, Guernsey and international tax issues since 1991. Tony has been working in Guernsey since 2003 providing a range of tax services to businesses in the international financial services industry, with particular on the investment management sector. His current client base includes a number of international banking groups, fiduciary and corporate service providers, leading private equity houses, property funds and other alternative investment structures. His team also provides tax services to local commercial businesses and Guernsey resident high net worth individuals. Tony is a member of the Guernsey Investment Funds Association executive committee, the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants Tax Sub-committee and the Insurance Advisory Group. He is also chair of the working party set up by the Guernsey International Business Association to work with the government on the ongoing reform of its tax regime and sits on the States of Guernsey Tax Professionals Panel that assists with the formulation of tax policy and administration.
