Lorraine Wheeler has been elected as the new Chair of the Jersey Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). A former committee member of the Bermuda and Suisse Romande branches, she takes over from Tony Pitcher who held the position for two years.
Lorraine (pictured), who was elected at the AGM this week, is a Client Services Director at First Names Group. She previously served as Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Branch.
The new Vice-Chair is Advocate Naomi Rive, Chief Trust Officer at Coutts. Andy Dobber, Head of Compliance for Santander UK's Jersey Branch, became Secretary.
STEP is a professional body for trust and estate professionals worldwide providing its members with a local, national and international learning and business network. The Jersey branch is one of the largest in the world with over 1,200 members.
