Local Jersey businesses are invited to enter submissions for one or several of four new categories open to corporate entries at this year’s Customer Service Awards which is being sponsored by HSBC and supported by the Jersey Chamber of Commerce and 103FM.The Awards aim to celebrate excellence in the delivery of Customer Service and the inclusion of four corporate categories ensure that those businesses – irrespective of size – can showcase their organisation’s success in this area.Companies can enter as many categories as they wish and are asked to provide evidence of improvements in business performance they have enjoyed as a direct result of an innovative approach or a revised strategy for Customer Service delivery. The panel of judges brings together a range of experience from a number of sectors and backgrounds and members of the panel are pleased that this year the awards include some corporate categories. David Warr, President of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce commented:“Following the success of last year’s event we were approached by organisations who would have liked to have had the opportunity to enter at company level. I really hope that businesses out there take up the challenge and tell us about their own successes.”Submission forms and guidance notes are now available on the Customer Service Awards website www.thecustomerserviceawards.comClosing date for entries is 28 September 2012.Categories areCustomer Service Innovation of the YearCustomer Service Strategy of the YearCustomer Commitment AwardBest Use of Social Media. The individual awards categories – open to public nomination - will be open from 3 September 2012.
