RBC Wealth Management named best private bank in the Channel Islands

Posted: 27/07/2012

RBC Wealth Management has continued its recent award success by being named the Best Private Bank in the Channel Islands at the 2012 World Finance Banking Awards.

World Finance’s judging panel used a wide range of criteria to decide the recipients of the 2012 awards. These included assessing each firm’s performance, the variety and clarity of products and services, and the competitiveness of their strategy moving forward. World Finance is a specialist financial services magazine and website read by decision-makers worldwide.

This is the latest in a series of accolades that RBC Wealth Management’s Channel Islands-based business has received in the last year, including multiple recognition in the 2012 Euromoney Private Banking Awards, as well as from Private Client Practitioner, STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals) and Citywealth.

Chris Blampied, Managing Director, Royal Bank of Canada (Channel Islands) Limited, commented: “Gaining recognition in this competitive category is testament to our reputation for strength and stability, a desire to continuously enhance the quality and breadth of our client offering, and an emphasis on employing and retaining the best people.

“The Channel Islands boast an advanced financial system and rigorous regulatory framework that has helped position them as international finance centres of choice, and we are immensely proud of the contribution that our company and its employees continue to make, both in serving clients as well as to the communities in Jersey and Guersey as a whole.”

RBC Wealth Management has a long standing history in the Channel Islands. It is celebrating 50 years in Jersey this year, and next year will mark 40 years serving clients in Guernsey.
