PBS Media has launched a new 4K independent facility house in Jersey.
The television and video production company – formed out of a merger between Hall TV, RichMedia and the PBS Group, along with the company buyout of Spike Productions – will offer one of only a few ultra-high-definition pre- and post-production facilities south of London.
PBS Media will produce network travel and documentary series, corporate production and will offer an alternative edit facility for UK broadcasters looking to edit outside of London. The company has already cut its teeth with 4K and stereoscopic 3D productions for independent Colonial Pictures, having shot and edited George Clooney’s movie ‘One PM Central Standard Time’ and Sir Trevor McDonald's ‘Queen & Country’ series.
