Jonathan Speck has been appointed as the Managing Partner of Mourant Ozannes' Jersey office, taking over from Daniel Birtwistle who steps down from the role after a three year term.
Jonathan (pictured) was called to the English Bar in 1990 and was sworn in as a Jersey Advocate in 1994. He has been a partner of Mourant Ozannes since 1996 and is joint head of the firm's International Trusts & Private Client (ITPC) practice in Jersey. He has played a major role in virtually all of the most high-profile, high value and complex trust disputes in Jersey in recent years. According to Chambers Global he is the only star-rated litigator in Jersey and is rated by Citywealth as one of the Top 5 contentious trust lawyers in the world. Jonathan speaks regularly on trusts and private client matters and is highly sought after as a speaker at conferences across the world. Jonathan will continue with his ITPC work in his role as Jersey Managing Partner.
