Logicalis Jersey has announced the appointment of Paul Dutot.
Ricky Magalhaes head of Offshore Security at Logicalis said ‘Paul’s security experience and engineering discipline further strengthens our team and our ability to ensure our clients are able to protect their data and assets from unauthorised access, use, disclosure or destruction.’
Prior to joining Logicalis, Paul ran his own Information Security business having worked as an Air Traffic Control Systems Engineer at Jersey Airport for 15 years. During this time he managed the refurbishment of Jersey TETRA infrastructure used by the emergency services. Paul has Qualified Security Tester status within TigerScheme; a cyber-security recognised qualification backed by the CESG. Moreover, Paul is one of only just over 3000 Offensive Security Certified Professional’s in the world, having completed a rigorous 24 hour exam.
Paul has a wide range of experience in both the IT and Engineering spheres being an Incorporated Engineer and Chartered IT Professional. Paul is a co-founder of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum (CIISF) which aims to promote security at all levels in the Channel Islands as well as being the secretary of the Jersey branch of the British Computer Society.
