Liquid shortlisted for integrated communications PRide awardLiquid has been shortlisted for two UK awards for a national integrated PR and marketing campaign.

The consultancy is competing in the ‘Integrated Communications’ category in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards in both the Midlands and the Wessex and Channel Islands region for its ‘Love Sweet Potatoes’ campaign for Scott Farms International, the UK’s largest importer of the vegetable.
Liquid managing director Jason MacKenzie said being commended by the judges was fantastic.

‘The Integrated Communications award recognises excellence in combining disciplines such as marketing, advertising, digital and public relations to generate business results ’ he said.

‘The Love Sweet Potatoes campaign was created by Liquid and executed through a cohesive approach, including website, collateral, social media, media relations and management of a presence at the world’s biggest fresh produce trade fair.

‘With Liquid’s help, Scott Farms International set out to educate the consumer of both the nutritional benefits of the sweet potato and how to cook and eat it. Since its launch in September 2011, the Love Sweet Potatoes campaign has gained national exposure and the business has increased its market share.

‘Uniquely, this campaign has been worked on by Liquid team members in Guernsey, Jersey and Birmingham, utilising the skills and experience of several experts within the agency.’

Mr MacKenzie added that Scott Farm International’s success had already been recognised by its own industry. It is the current re:fresh Importer of the Year and is has also been shortlisted for the European Business Awards.

Liquid is an integrated communications consultancy with experts in PR, marketing, branding and design, with offices in Guernsey, Jersey, London and Birmingham.

The awards will be presented at black tie events on Wednesday 26 September in Southampton and on Friday 2 November in Birmingham.
