PFC Auctions, Guernsey, 28 February online sale includes a very rare autographed photo of James Bond creator, Ian Fleming (Lot 36).
There are only five such Ian Fleming signed photos known to exist, making this a world rarity for any Bond memorabilia collector. Bidding currently stands at £1,037.
Auctioneer Adrian Roose commented "The photo only measures 3½" x 4½" but to a James Bond fan it's priceless. We've had global interest so we're confident of a good result."
Also included in the auction is Lot 38, an original enigma machine box. Estimated at £500, bidding on the box currently stands at £993 and it is expected to sell for up to £1,500.
Roose commented, "The record price for an actual enigma machine is £131,180, so the opportunity to purchase the next best thing, an original box, is proving to be popular with collectors."
The sale also includes four previously unrecorded letters sent from Albert Einstein to Corliss Lamont, a socialist philosopher, who was accused by Senator Joseph McCarthy of being "un-American" for his suggestions that the US should maintain a relationship with the Soviet Union.
The four letters which are expected to sell for £6,000- £8,000, were found in a Yard Sale in America and subsequently consigned to PFC Auctions.
One of the more historical lots in the auction is the 'Trafalgar Collection' (Lot 41) a beautifully framed limited edition that contains historical artifacts including a piece of Lord Nelson's hair, a strand of his hair and original pieces of wood from HMS Victory.
And for space memorabilia fans? Undoubtedly the Neil Armstrong autograph on plain card (Lot 124) that is accompanied by a photograph of Armstrong signing his autograph.
Roose commented "Our experts have over 250 years experience and can tell you that 90% of the Neil Armstrong autographs they see on the market are forgeries, so to have a genuine autograph with such great on-the-spot provenance is a real treat". Bidding currently stands at £403.
A John Lennon & Yoko Ono signed album cover (Lot 64) is also proving to be popular. The cover was signed by John and Yoko while taking part in their Bed-In for Peace in Montreal in 1969. In addition to his signature Lennon has also drawn caricatures of himself and Yoko.
